Composition:
Each 5 ml syrup contains:
Paracetamol 120 mg.
Each tablet contains:
Paracetamol 500 mg.
Each suppository contains:
Paracetamol 125 mg for babies.
Each suppository contains:
Paracetamol 250 mg for children.
Each suppository contains:
Paracetamol 500 mg for adults.
Indications:
For the temporary relief of
pains, headaches, fever,
influenza and.
Dosage and Administration:
Tablets:
Adults and children 12 years of
age and older 1 – 2 tablets 3 or
4 times daily.
No more than a total of 8
tablets in any 24 hours daily.
Syrup:
Children: 6 – 12 years 2 – 3
teaspoonful (10 – 15 ml) 3 or 4
times daily.
1 – 6 years 1 – 2 teaspoonful
(5 – 10 ml) 3 or 4 times
daily.
3 months - 1 year 1/2 – 1
teaspoonful (2.5 – 5 ml) 2 or 3
times daily.
Suppositories:
For babies 1 year: 1 suppository
125 mg every 4 – 6 hours.
For children 1 – 6 years: 1
suppository 250 mg every 4 – 6
hours.
For adults: 1 – 2 suppository
500 mg 3 times daily.
Over dosage:
Hepatic toxicity, nausea,
vomiting, diaphoresis and
general malaise. |
