Composition:
Each Suppository contains:
Tenoxicam …………………….…. 20 mg .
Indications:
Noxicam is indicated for the
symptomatic treatment of the
following painful inflammatory
and degenerative disorders of
the musculoskeletal system:
- Rheumatoid arthritis.
- Osteoarthritis, arthrosis.
- Degenerative polyarthritis.
- Ankylosing spondylitis.
- Extraarticular disorders:
Tendinitis, bursitis,
periarthritis of shoulders,
(shoulder – hand syndrome), or
hips strains and sprains.
- Acute rheumatism pains.
- Acute shoulder pains.
- Acute polyarthritis.
- Acute gout.
Dosage and Administration:
- For all indications with the
exception of gouty arthritis (20
mg) 1 suppository, should be
taken once daily at the same
time each day.
- For acute attacks of gouty
arthritis, the recommended dose
is ( 40 mg ) 2
suppositories once daily for two
days followed by ( 20 mg ) 1
suppository, once daily for a
further five days. |
