COMPOSITON:
Each Suppository contains 10 mg
of Hycine N Butyl
Bromde (scoplamine).
INDICATIONS:
Neospasamine is used for the
treatment of :
1-Severe pain resulting form
smooth muscles spasms such as:
Abdominal
pain, spastic colon, spasm of
the bile urinary tract
spasms(especially
those spasms which are
associated with temperature
elevation)
2- Gastric and duodenal ulcer,3-
Dysmonerhes
4- Anti emetic especially after
gynecological operations
5-Spastic constipation.
Dosage:
1 suppository 1-3 times daily or
as prescribed by the doctor
Absorption and metabolism:
Hyocine N butyl bromide is
rapidly
Absorbed and merged in the blood
circulation when administered on
the
Mucous membranes in the rectum
But the total absorption after
Adminstration only ranges
between 10 % to 25 % then it is
distributed in
The body and after 12 hours 1%
of Scopolamine appears in the
urine.
