Description and Properties:
Erythromycin is a macrolide
antibiotic, produced from
Streptomyces erythreus.
Benzoyl peroxide is an
antibacterial and keratolytic
agent.
After reconstitution each gram
contains: Erythromycin ……. 30 mg
Benzoyl peroxide … 50 mg.
Indications:
Erytro-plus gel is indicated for
the topical treatment of acne
vulgaris.
Instructions for dispensing:
1- Open the vial of alcohol and
pour the contents in the vial of
erythromycin powder and shake
energetically to obtain
homogenous white solution.
2- Open the pot of gel and pour
slowly the contents of the
erythromycin vial (white
solution) and stir for 1 to 1.5
minutes with the spatula until
homogenous appearance of gel.
3- Place on the cover the expiry
date (3 months depending on the
date of the preparation). |
